I chose to attend the University of Nevada because it was far enough away from San Francisco, but close enough to where I didn't need to get on a flight to go home. University of Nevada is a research institution located in Reno, Nevada with 14,000 students. As a freshman, I was dual majoring in Pre-Nursing and Community Health Sciences. I loved the anatomy portion of this major and really enjoyed volunteering in the hospital. I loved the small school feel of Nevada, but it grew too small at the end of my sophomore year. I made the hard decision to start over at Auburn, but I will always cherish my time at Univeristy of Nevada.

The organization that I was involved with the most during my time at the University of Nevada was my sorority. I was a member of several different committees during my time and even helped out with recruitment my sophomore year on zoom. I made such great connections while in this chapter and even facilitated relationships with InterFraternity Council chapters as social chair while setting up socials during this time.
